Managing storage with Windows PowerShell
Other than Disk Manager, you can manage storage in Windows 10 with Windows PowerShell (powershell.exe) too, as shown in Figure 7.14. Introduced in Windows Vista, because of its command-line shell and associated scripting language, Windows PowerShell is among the most popular system administrator tools for task automation and configuration.
In Windows 10, you can access Windows PowerShell in the following ways:
- Right-click the Start button
- Select Windows PowerShell (Admin)
Or:
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run window.
- Enter powershell.exe and hit Enter:
