Those who own only two or three REIT stocks and intend to buy no more of them should ignore this entire Appendix D. It's intended primarily for REIT enthusiasts who have a significant allocation to REITs, perhaps owning 10, 20, or even 30 of them, and who are curious about the many potholes and forks in the road leading to effective REIT portfolio management.
