I travel a lot, and nothing takes the boredom out of a long car trip than listening to a good audiobook. An audiobook is just what the name says, a book on tape or disc or in a digital audio file that you listen to rather than read.

Acknowledging the popularity of audiobooks, Apple has added audiobook capability to both iTunes and the iPod. You can download audiobooks from the iTunes Store and then play them on your computer with the iTunes software, or on the go with your iPod.
