Chapter 8. IPv6 IGP Routing Protocols
In Chapter 6, “IPv6 Configuration,” you configured the addressing for Rick’s Café network topology. Using this same topology in Chapter 7, “Introduction to Routing IPv6,” you configured reachability throughout the topology using static routes. Static routes are excellent for routing to and from a stub network, or are used as a default route. But there are definite disadvantages in solely using static routes where the network is more than just a few routers and can also include redundant links.
