I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Current Organizational Structures
This chapter shows the way many organizations are structured today. You wouldn't believe what we saw out there. Maybe you've seen the same setups, too. The first one (Figure 4-1) was our personal favorite and receives the first DORG (Disaster ORGanization) award. It's a designation that we give to organizations that have intrinsic problems just by the way they are created and the limitations they place on the people in the organization.
