I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Comparison with Previous Releases
The classes discussed in this chapter are available in version 1.2.1 of JCE. Version 1.2.1 is the first exportable release of JCE; previous versions may be used only within the United States and Canada. However, there are third-party implementations of earlier versions of JCE that were written by entities outside of the United States, and those implementations may be used outside of the United States.
Version 1.2 does not support key wrapping. The init( ) methods to the Cipher class that
require a certificate are not available in 1.2.
Version 1.1 of JCE supports only the DES, DESede, and PBEWithMD5AndDES encryption algorithms.
