I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Dabei erzeugt der Webbrowser immer dann ein Event, wenn etwas Interessantes passiert – im Dokument, im Browser oder bei einem Element oder Objekt, das damit verbunden ist. Beispielsweise erzeugt der Webbrowser ein Event, wenn ein Dokument vollständig geladen wurde, wenn der Benutzer die Maus über einen Hyperlink bewegt oder auf der Tastatur eine Taste drückt. Wenn sich eine JavaScript-Anwendung für eine bestimmte Art von Events interessiert, kann sie eine oder mehrere Funktionen registrieren, wenn Events von diesem Typ ausgelöst werden.
