和貼上相關的事件有兩組：
beforepaste
和
paste
。當使用者執行貼上功能之後、資料真正
貼上之前，就會觸發
paste
事件。按照慣例，不同的瀏覽器會有不同的實作方式。如果
是用 Chrome，即使沒有聚焦（focus）任何網頁元件，還是會觸發
paste
事件。但 IE 和
Safari，則是一定要看到有網頁元件處於聚焦狀態，才會觸發
paste
事件。

事件的 API 和
drop
事件的 API 非常類似。該事件的
clipboardData
屬性，能讓你
透過
getData()
函式取得要被貼上的資料（要將 MIME 格式傳入函式）。但在筆者親自
測試之後，發現一個不幸的結果：
types
屬性永遠都會回傳
null
，因此我們無法利用程
式判斷，剪貼簿裡面究竟有哪幾種 MIME 類型的資料。此外，還得要先取消事件，才能
讓整個貼上的流程順利的運作，並將資料貼到聚焦的網頁元件上面：
