It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Customizing your board's layout
Jira's agile board acts as the white board where all your story cards are placed. There are two key components that make up the board, namely the columns and swimlanes:
- Columns: The vertical columns that are used to represent the state of a story card
- Swimlanes: The horizontal rows that help you to better categorize your story cards on the board
In the following sections, we will take a deeper look into these two components and how you, as the board administrator, can customize them to get the most out of your board.
