거리 벡터와 링크 상태 경로 교환의 비교 요약
거리 벡터와 링크 상태 프로토콜을 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 거리 벡터 프로토콜에서 라우터
는 정보를 학습한 방법이 아닌 모든 목적지 서브넷의 도달 가능한 거리 비용에 대해 그 이웃들에
게 알려준다. 링크 상태 프로토콜에서 라우터는 이웃들에게 자신과 연결된 라우터가 무엇인지
알려주고, 모든 라우터는 이를 토대로 도달 가능한 목적지 서브넷이 무엇인지 알아낸다. 조금 더
일반적으로 말한다면 거리 벡터 프로토콜의 라우터는 네트워크에 있는 모든 라우터에 대한 이야
기를 모든 이웃에 퍼트린다. 반면 링크 상태 프로토콜에서 네트워크의 모든 라우터는 그들의 이
웃에 대해 모든 라우터에 이야기를 퍼트린다.
