So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Since extension functions come in handy, you might be tempted to use them a lot. However, with great power comes great responsibility. Since they are resolved statically, you shouldn't be using them everywhere, because static functions are difficult to test. Using it irresponsibly means your code will be less testable and hence less maintainable.
