When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conclusion
I hope by now you’ll be a lot clearer on what you are up to and how you go about making it happen. You’ll also by now have a good idea of what I’m up to.
I believe leadership is the one ingredient above all others that has organisations prosper and people be at their best more of the time. But there are too many people struggling to get their arms round this topic of leadership and even more who don’t even see themselves as leaders.
I want to change all that. My ambition is to have people who, regardless of position or title, know how to grow themselves and others as leaders. And I want a Future in which ‘how are we leading this place and how can we do it better?’ is an explicit and regular conversation throughout organisations.
