It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Color Conversion
The next category of preferences, the Color Conversion preferences, allows us to configure default values for color profiles. They are as follows:
- RGB profile allows you to use the drop-down menu to set the desired color profile for RGB color.
- CMYK profile allows you to use the drop-down menu to set the desired color profile for CMYX color.
- The Rendering Intent drop-down menu configures how to process the color conversion between color spaces. The Perceptual option preserves the visual relationship between colors so that the colors are perceived as natural, even when the color values are changed.
