So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding an outline
This technique works for anything on a layer that you may want to add an outline to, not just text. Here, we'll use our BOOM! sound effect as an example. It's very easy to create an outline in Clip Studio Paint using the Layer Property palette.
Follow these easy steps to add an outline to the contents of a layer. In this case, we're using a text sound effect:
- Ensure that your text layer is the currently active layer by checking that it is selected in the Layer palette.
- Locate the Layer Property palette. If you cannot locate it, ensure that there is a check mark next to the Layer Property option under the Window section of the File Menu.
