So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Truffle Box
Truffle Box provides a collection of DApp boilerplates that allow you to quickly set up your DApp project. To create a box, you can run the truffle unbox command:
truffle unbox {USER_NAME || ORG_NAME}/{REPO_NAME}
In this section, we will build a web interface for Cheshire—fast CryptoKitties DApp development—using Truffle Box. CryptoKitties is a popular Ethereum game. Players can purchase, collect, breed, and sell blockchain cats. Cheshire implements the minimum CryptoKitties DApp API, as shown here:
/kitties/kitties/:id/user/:address
The installation process is quite simple:
- Install the Cheshire box by running the following command:
truffle unbox endless-nameless-inc/cheshire
