This chapter discusses three extended examples that use the ideas and code from Chapter 16 to express and solve Newtonian mechanics problems that involve one object. The examples are satellite motion, projectile motion with air resistance, and a proton in a uniform magnetic field. We’ll show how to make plots and animations for each of these examples. Note that we will not begin a new module in this chapter; instead, we’ll add to the Mechanics3D module we started in the last chapter.
