I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Capturing the VM with unmanaged storage
This method is straightforward too, but you have to get the VM sysprepped first, and then follow these steps:
- Navigate to Images and click on Add, and a new blade will open, as shown in the following screenshot:

- All the fields to be filled in are pretty straightforward:
- Name: The name of the image.
- Subscription: The subscription that will be charged for storing the image.
- Resource group: The resource group that the image will be assigned to.
- Location: Select the nearest location to you.
- OS type: Select the OS type of the VM, whether it is Windows ...
