I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Distributed Virtual Routers
Prior to the introduction of Neutron in the Folsom release of OpenStack, all network management was built in to the Nova API and was known as nova-network. Nova-network provided floating IP functionality, and network failure domains were limited to an individual compute node – something that was lacking in the early releases of Neutron. Nova-network has since been deprecated and most of its functionality has been implemented and improved upon in the latest releases of Neutron.
