Light

Light is the central element of photography. In a purely technical sense, no image can be created without incidental light entering a camera. But on a more abstract level, light is among the most influential factors you can use to design your images. Light and shadows are subtle, versatile, and dynamic partners of image design, and the way they are applied directly determines the quality of an exposure.
