I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A virtual machine network interface (vNIC)
Every virtual machine will need a network interface card that can connect and participate in a network. VMware calls it a vNIC. These entities can be created on each virtual machine. There are different types of vNICs that can be created on a virtual machine. The type of vNIC you choose will not only depend on the type of guest operating system that runs on a virtual machine but also on the purpose of the NIC card. VMware allows adding up to 10 vNICs per virtual machine. All the vNICs that you add to a virtual machine can be of any supported type or even a combination of multiple NIC types.
