I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Personal postscript
Now that you've read this far, I feel I owe you some sort of explanation about how the book you are holding came into existence.
My other book, Liquid Thinking, focuses on how anyone can adopt simple techniques and behaviours in their lives to achieve great success. I therefore wanted this book to be about how to lead and inspire others to gain similar results.
My inspiration for this book came from a visit to the Nobel Museum in Stockholm. When I walked through the museum, I came across a section dedicated to Sir Isaac Newton that included an extract of a letter Newton had written to his friend Robert Hooke about his discoveries.
