Classification is used to classify images based on certain facial features, such as whether the eyes are open or closed and whether the person is smiling or not.
Classification is expressed as a value between 0 and 1. For example, a happiness value of 0.7 or more in the smiling classification can classify that the person is smiling. Similarly, the status of whether the eyes are open or not can be tracked through classification.
Both of these classifications rely on landmark detection. The eyes open and smiling classifications work on the frontal faces alone. This means that they need a smaller Euler Y angle (+/- 18 degrees) in order to calculate these factors.
