Under the assumption of a Poisson distribution, the count data can be fitted to a log-linear model. In this recipe, we first loaded sample count data from the warpbreaks dataset, which contained data regarding the number of warp breaks per loom. Next, we applied the glm function with breaks as a dependent variable, tension as an independent variable, and Poisson as a family object. Finally, we viewed the fitted log-linear model with the summary function.
