Magento is a really flexible platform and allows the creation of different types of attributes for the products in the catalog.

- Product attributes
- Attribute sets
- Associating attribute sets with products
Product attributes
An attribute is a property of a product, for example, the product color, the size, or the description. You can add, edit, or remove product attributes in Magento to customize your products. In order to manage the product attributes, you should go to the STORES | Attributes | Product section in the Magento admin panel.
