Chapter 2. Managing the Environment
Throughout this chapter, we will look into setting up our development and production environments. The idea is to have a fully automated development environment, which can be initiated with a single console command. For a production environment, we will turn our focus to one of the available cloud services, and see how easy it is to set up Magento for simpler production projects. We will not be covering any robust environment setups like auto-scaling, caching servers, content delivery networks, and similar. These are really jobs for System Administrator or DevOps roles.
