5. ATTACH CYLINDER TO BASE
Drill a ¾" diameter hole in the center of the 2×4
guide piece. Next, drill a ¾" through-hole along
the centerline of the top of the base, 10" from one
side, as shown in Figure A.
Position the hole in the guide piece with the
hole in the base so that the two holes exactly
align. Attach the guide piece to the base with 4
deck screws.
