I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Final words
There’s no going back – the way that project managers are leading their work has changed forever. Work is more complex, expectations are higher, deadlines are tighter. The role will continue to change as the world of work continues to evolve. I hope that the concepts in this book will remain useful as that happens, and I think the portfolio, plan, people, productivity and practices approach will stay relevant in the following ways:
