So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is an insight?
Introduction
An executive executes. An executive guides a company or a department by making decisions. An executive makes good decisions most of the time. Are these decisions based on facts? How do they know which lever to pull in order to alter the future course of key metrics?
The purpose of analytics is to provide insights. Good decisions are based on good insights. Right? But are insights used? How often? In fact, what is an insight?
