I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Material themes
When creating an overall theme for an app, we have two opposing goals. On the one hand, we want our app to stand out from the others and be easily recognized; on the other, we want it to comply with the user's expectations of the platform and we want them to find the controls familiar and simple to use. The Theme Editor strikes a good compromise between individuality and conformity.
At their simplest, material themes take two or three colors and apply these throughout an application to give it a consistent feel and this is probably the major benefit of using themes.
