So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Managing keystores
Whether we are managing our own keystore or Google does it for us, the process begins in the same way, as the following steps demonstrate:
- Click on the Generate Signed APK... entry in the Build menu.
- Complete the following dialog, using very strong passwords.
The Generate Signed APK dialog- If you are creating a new keystore, you will be presented with the New Key Store dialog, which must be completed along these lines:
