Defining a new product

A product contains one or more APIs, as well as defining a usage quota and terms of use.

If you want to create a new product, you can use the Products option in the API Management blade:

When you create a new product, you must add some information pertaining to it:

• Display name: This is the full name that appears in the developer portal.
• Id: This is the internal name for the product.
• Description: This is the description of the product (it also appears in the developer portal).
• State: If you select Published, the product will be available as soon as it has been created.
