Installing KEDA in the Kubernetes cluster

We won't cover how to install Kubernetes on the cluster and kubectl locally. Depending on where you're installing it or if you're using a managed service such as AKS, the setup instructions can be very different.

If you have Docker already installed on your machine, kubectl will already be installed, and so you won't need to do it manually. If you want to authenticate kubectl to your AKS instance, you can execute the az aks get-credentials -g yourResourceGroup -n yourAKSinstance --overwrite-existing command.

Once you have your cluster up and running and you're logged into it using kubectl, you can use the Azure Functions Core Tools to install KEDA:

func kubernetes install --namespace keda
