Serverless scenarios

Serverless plans are normally chosen in the following scenarios:

• You have intermittent and unpredictable usage patterns, with a lot of periods of inactivity.
• You don't know the usage patterns in advance.
• You don't know whether your solution will need to scale really quickly or if nobody will use it.
• You don't know the pricing model of your solution yet.

Serverless plans are useful in these scenarios because you're not forced to allocate resources in advance. You shouldn't monitor your resources to find out whether they need to be scaled up or down.
