When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adobe Typekit
Adobe Typekit is one of the excellent subscription font services out there. Why use Typekit, though, when there are free fonts provided by Google? I don't want to say that you get what you pay for with Google, because I think that Google's fonts are very high quality and a very large selection, but I think that the selection and quality of fonts on Typekit is outstanding as well. However, the best feature, in my opinion, is that this font service is free to all Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers. So if you have subscribed to the Creative Cloud suite for tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator, you have access to every font on Typekit as well.
