What is a PEP?

PEPs are a numbered collection of design documents describing a feature, process, or environment related to Python. Each PEP is carefully maintained in a text file, containing technical specifications of a particular feature and its rationale for its existence. For example, PEP 0 serves as the index of all PEPs, while PEP 1 provides the purpose and guidelines of PEPs. As software developers, we often read code more than we write code. To create clear, concise, and readable code, we should always use a style guide as a coding convention. PEP 8 is a set of style guidelines for writing presentable Python code.
