When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting started before Chapter 1
The book has an accompanying GitHub repository that contains all of the walk-throughs already implemented in a series of commits. You should clone this to your local development machine as you'll be working within it.
- If you have a GitHub account, I suggest you fork the repo so that you can push your work to keep a copy safe. Use the Fork button in the top-right hand corner of the GitHub page to do this. The repository is located at https://github.com/PacktPublishing/Mastering-React-Test-Driven-Development.
- Once forked, you can then clone this locally by going to a terminal window and typing the following command, replacing <username> with your GitHub username:
git clone git@github.com:<username>/Mastering-React-Test-Driven-Development.git ...
