I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The new UI elements
Much of the UI has already been built for you, and we won't bother going over the code as the concepts have been explored in the previous chapter. Here's what you'll find:
- A new button to toggle sharing on and off. It appears in the menu buttons bar, initially named Start sharing, and, once sharing has started, it becomes Stop sharing.
- The location bar can now take a ?watching=<id> search parameter. Having this present triggers the application to run in watching mode.
- There is a new message that appears as part of the menu buttons bar. It is either not present, or contains a message telling the user if they are presenting or if they are watching. If they are presenting, it also contains a URL that they can copy and share ...
