Wire Rope
Wire rope is frequently used in mechanical design in lifts, turntable drives, flying effects and deck tracks. It is unsurpassed as an inexpensive, flexible, high strength, light weight and compact tensile member, but there are many factors to consider when designing an effect using wire rope. These factors include recommended radius for bends, flexibility and terminations, many of which depend on size and construction.
