So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
Before you can follow the steps in this recipe, you'll need to install the required software:
- Install Docker. Download the installation package from the Docker website (https://www.docker.com/docker-mac) and follow the instructions.
- Install docker-compose by executing the following command line on macOS X:
brew install docker-compose
On Ubuntu Linux, you can execute the following command line:
apt-get install docker-compose
With those two packages installed, you'll be ready to follow the steps in this recipe.
