I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Let's check the following steps:
- This recipe requires an AWS account. If you do not already have an AWS account, create one at https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/create-and-activate-aws-account/ and create a set of access keys at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/managing-aws-access-keys.html. Install the aws cli utility. If you're on OS X and have HomeBrew installed, this can be done with the following:
$ brew install aws
- Configure the aws command-line utility, entering the access key you created:
$ aws configure
- Create a launch configuration. Launch configurations are templates used by auto-scaling groups when creating new instances. In this case, we've chosen an Amazon AMI and t2.nano ...
