I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Consistent RPC with HTTP and JSON
When building multiple microservices, consistency and conventions between services start to make a real impact. When problems arise in a microservice architecture, you can end up spending time debugging many services—being able to make certain assumptions about the nature of a particular service interface can save a lot of time and mental energy. Having a consistent way of doing RPC also allows you to codify certain concerns into libraries that can be easily shared between services.
