Managing Exchange Recipients

Exchange has several options with which an administrator can successfully manage the environment. These options are through the EMC, EMS, and ECP. The EMC is where a lot of administrators traditionally start to manage Exchange. However, if you want to perform many tasks or have greater control over the Exchange environment it is important that you become familiar with the EMS, especially when performing bulk administration.

EMS has been designed to allow automation of repetitive administrative tasks and it's a best practice to become very familiar with how EMS can be utilized in your Exchange organization. EMS is used to manage your Exchange Recipients and provide detailed control over these objects.
