So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The DocEvent Object
The DocEvent object is used when switching views in an InfoPath form template and when a view has changed its appearance, which is in association with an OnAfterChange event. The DocEvent object is passed as an argument to either the OnSwitchView event or the OnAfterChange event.
DocEvent Object Methods
The DocEvent object has no methods.
DocEvent Object Properties
The DocEvent object has a single property, XDocument.
The XDocument property returns a reference to the XDocument object associated with the DocEvent object. This property is available only during an OnSwitchView event or an OnAfterChange event.
