The next step in the installation process is to install the networking services that are needed for the server. To install the networking services, you can use either of a couple of different approaches—use wizards or manually add services.
In Windows Server 2003, Microsoft has added a set of wizards that allow you to configure the server to support different roles, such as an Application Server with Internet Information Server (IIS) or a Domain Controller with Active Directory. The wizards automatically walk you through the installation of the network services needed to support the roles you select.
