I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exercise – updating Schema
It is very important to update the project's Schema every time there is a Schema Object change, addition, or deletion. In this exercise, you will learn how to update the Schema with the following steps:
- Select the project where the schema will be updated. For this exercise select the MicroStrategy Tutorial project.
- Open the project by double clicking on it or clicking on the plus symbol on its left.
- Go to the Schema menu | Update Schema.
- On the next window, shown as follows, make sure only the first option is selected with Update schema logical information | Update:
