Theodore (Ted) S. Rappaport is the David Lee/Ernst Weber Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering. He also holds professorships in NYU’s Courant Institute and Medical School. During his career, he founded three major academic wireless research centers at Virginia Tech, The University of Texas at Austin, and New York University, and he founded and sold two wireless technology companies to publicly traded firms.
