Mobile IPv6-related Structures
In this chapter, we introduce all structures used by the Mobile Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) stack.
As discussed in Section 3.4, a new extension header, Mobility Header, is introduced in [RFC3775]. Mobility Header has a type field to specify different message types based on the function of each message. In [RFC3775], eight type values are defined. Each message format is described in Sections 10.2–10.10. Mobility Header may have option data as discussed in Section 3.5. The related structures are described in Sections 10.11–10.16.
