ThreadingHTTPServer joins HTTPServer with ThreadingMixin, which allows you to serve more than a single request at a time.
This is especially important when serving static websites because browsers frequently keep connections open longer than needed, and when serving a single request at a time, you might be unable to fetch your CSS or JavaScript files until the browser closes the previous connection.
For each request, the HTTPServer forwards it for processing to a specified handler. The SimpleHTTPRequestHandler is able to serve the requests, mapping them to local files on disk, but on most Python versions, it is only able to serve them from the current directory.
