Summary

The art of telling user-generated stories (UGS) occurs in four stages: planning, recording, editing and publishing. The working mojo uses a smartphone to complete all four stages and in this chapter we'll take a closer look at the editing stage. This chapter covers all the important techniques used to create quality multi-track, multi-source checkerboard news-like mobile edits that include name supers, audio post-production, rendering and publishing. To cover all the material in a relevant manner I will use the iMovie app to discuss the above and where relevant will mention other edit apps that are introduced in Chapter 4.
