Materials for heterogeneous object 3D printing
Abstract
This chapter discusses materials for heterogeneous object (HEO) 3D printing. HEO printing is a concurrent design and manufacturing process of multimaterials, structures, and functions. Among them, materials are the foundations and the key factors. On the other hand, materials are often the bottlenecks of advanced 3D printing. Materials used for HEO printing are commonly divided into different types: metal, inorganic nonmetallic, and organic polymer.
